Thank you for your interest in competing in the BirdSO Invitationals! This year, we will be hosting two Division B/C tournaments, an in-person tournament and a Satellite Tournament. The Division B/C In-Person Tournament will take place at USC on January 13, 2024. The Satellite Tournament, which takes place at your school under the supervision of your coach, will run February 10-17, 2024.
In-Person: January 13, 2024 (B/C)
Satellite: February 10-17, 2024
Regardless of which tournament format you choose to participate in, we strive to deliver the same high quality competition experience for which BirdSO is known.
Registration for both tournaments will open on October 16, 2024, at 12:00 PM Pacific Time and end 8 days before the competitions date. Jan 5, B/C In-Person; Feb 2, B/C Satellite All teams registering after we have reached capacity will be placed on a waitlist for that tournament.
Please note that per national Science Olympiad policy, you must be registered with your home state’s Science Olympiad organization to compete in Science Olympiad tournaments. Your team does not need to reside in Southern California to participate.
Registration fees are due by 5:00 PM Pacific Time the Friday before each tournament. For the In-Person Tournament, the deadline is Friday, January 5, 2024. For the Satellite Tournament, the deadline is Friday, February 2, 2024.
